Firoz Jahangir Gandhi was an Indian politician and journalist. While living in Lucknow, he has worked for the national herald and the navjivan newspaper. She was the son -in - law of Indira Gandhi's husband and Jawaharlal Nehru. Feroz Jahangir was also a member of the Lok Sabha.
Feroz Gandhi was in a parsi family in Mumbai. His father name was Jahangir and mother's name was Ratimai in the khetwadi Mohalla of Bombay Narogi lived in the playwright house. His father Jahangir Karlik Nixon was a marine engineer and after this he was promoted as a warrant engineer. Firoz was the youngest son his parents. His two brother and two sisters. They were not related to Mahatma Gandhi, who later became the prime minister of India. They had two sons - Rajiv GandhI and Sanjay Gandhi thus they were part of the Nehru - Gandhi family.His eldest son Rajiv later became the prime minister of India. Firoz Gandhi was member of the provincial parliament 1950 to 1952. And was appointed as a member of the Lok Sabha. After the death of his father in early 1920. Firoz and his mother went to Allahabad to live with their unmarried aunt her aunt was a surgeon in lady duffirin's hospital. Firoz received elementary education from Vidya Mandir High School. and then completed graduation.
Career
Firoz Gandhi entry into the Ananad Bhaban as done through the mother of India. Once Kamluddin Nehru was sitting on a dharna Allahabad's government college. To attend the India independence campaign. He studied he had to go to jail along with Lal Bahadur Sastri in 1930 and he had to stay in Faizabad jail for 19 months. Immediately after his release he had no tax on agricultural in Uttar Pradesh.
He joined the campaign which was not given , a and for this reason, when he was working closely with Nehru. He had to go to jail twice in 1932 and 1933. In 1933 Firoz purpose for Indira the first time, but Indira and their mother rejected it. Indira's nutrition has happened around the Nehru family. It is said that when indira's mother Kamla Nehru condition was very bad due to TV and Indira was only in her 1934 bhowali was taken to the hospital and after this, when he had to go to Europe for a sudden treatment but finally his mother death on 28 Fer bury 1936.in the year that follow, Indira and Firoz were very close to each other in England. After this according to Hindu traditions. He married in 1942. Indira,so father Jawaharlal Nehru was against this marriage at the very beginning and he gave them both Gandhi also said to discuss Gandhi. But despite Nehru,s failure , it was a failure. After this six month after this marriage.he was arrested and arrested In August 1942. He was jailed in naini central jail of Allahabad. He was sentenced to one year imprisonment. after coming back, he spent the next five years well from 1950 to 1952.he became a member of the provincial parliament and was appointed as a member of the Lok Sabha.
